Robin Malau
Web designer and developer. Baldwin Park, CA.
I've spent twenty years building digital things — websites, agencies, campaigns, content — across Indonesia, Singapore, and the US. Now I'm bringing that experience to small businesses in the San Gabriel Valley. Not as a vendor. As someone who lives here, understands what you're building, and knows what a professional web presence actually does for a business like yours.

The same skills that serve Fortune 500s — applied to your corner of LA.
I built my first website in 2006, started my first web design agency in Bandung, Indonesia in 2008 — one person, a laptop, and a client list that eventually included some of the biggest brands operating in Southeast Asia. By 2011 I was running a full agency. When I moved to the US in 2018, I stepped away from that to pursue a career in tech — YouTube, Google, eventually Meta AI. That career taught me how the largest platforms in the world think about quality, trust, and what makes something credible online.
What I kept noticing, living in Baldwin Park and driving through the SGV, was how many established businesses were hard to find online. Restaurants with loyal regulars. Caterers with years of event work. Service businesses people already trusted. The website was missing, or outdated, or not doing the business justice. These owners weren't behind because they didn't care. Nobody had made the process simple or explained why it was worth the investment.
That's what I'm here to do. I'm not a national agency with a sales team and a template library. I build clean, fast WordPress sites and then stick around to keep them running. Every client gets my full attention. If you email me, I answer. If something breaks, I fix it.
The San Gabriel Valley has one of the most economically active immigrant business communities in the country. Many of these owners built something real without much institutional support — through hard work, reputation, and the trust of their neighbors. I know that story from the inside. I'm an immigrant too. I know what it takes to establish credibility in a place where nobody handed you a network. A professional website is one of the fastest ways to signal that your business belongs at the same table as anyone else — and I'm here to help you build it.
